Updated information about the 5K run
Here is information about the 5K RUN. It goes through some of the most beautiful Brtitish countryside along the River Cam to Grantchester and back. Mostly an off-road trail run, with a woodland section and a short section on a quiet back-street. Please join us at 06:00 on Thursday 12 July at the conference venue: Main Entrance of the Engineering Dept. Trumpington Street for 06:30 start of the run. There is also a shorter walking route available to those who just want to enjoy the scenery. Here is the Google map for the course - note, slightly updated with a new start location closer to the conference venue.
The route will be marked and there will be some stewards.
Note you have to open several gates along the way and cross cattle grids:
