STR

At Systems & Technology Research, we harness the power of technology to solve challenging U.S. national security problems. The U.S. military and intelligence services employ advanced technologies at all echelons, from central commands to battlefields, to create strategic and tactical advantage. Our mission is to provide this advantage through the development and delivery of innovative sensors and information processing capabilities.

We are motivated by a commitment to excellence in everything we conceive, design, develop and build; and we believe that by working collaboratively – among ourselves, our clients and partner companies – we can deliver powerful capabilities to our customers.

STR is a privately-owned, growing business focused on research and development for the defense and intelligence communities. STR has over 200 employees at sites in Woburn, MA; Dayton, OH; and Arlington, VA. Several programs have transitioned advanced technology to military and intelligence users.  We partner with dozens of businesses, large and small, as well as academic institutions and professors.  We recruit and hire at all levels: interns, co-op students, recent college graduates at all levels, mid-career and seasoned professionals.

STR specializes in advanced research and development for defense, intelligence and homeland security applications. While our primary focus is on serving US Government customers, we are pursuing commercial applications as well. We are a nationally recognized leader in research areas including:

  • Sensor Development
  • Sensor Signal Processing
  • Electronic Warfare
  • Computer Vision
  • Social Media Processing
  • Cyber Defense
  • Data Analytics
  • Command and Control

We are pleased to be sponsoring the FUSION 2018 conference and to participate as a member of this research community.
